Do you want to improve productivity in the metal bays as well as quality?
There is no better way than a quality spot welding system. If you want to restore a vehicle to pre accident condition, we offer spot welders to fit any budget with a wide range of functions, capability and performance. When choosing a spot welder that is right for you, you have to consider what you will be welding and how much welding you will be doing. Spot welders have a duty cycle that affects how much work you can do with the machine before it has to rest. What is the power supply you have in the building? Should the unit be liquid cooled or air cooled? How does the liquid cooling work when changing tips. How easy is it to change the tips?
Prospot I4 uses the latest inverter technology with a closed loop low maintenance water cooling system. When you change arms or electrodes there is no water loss and no hoses to disconnect. The head is light weight and there are on screen repair instructions for many of the most popular vehicles. I4 monitors the amperage asked for and shows on screen the percentage of amperage delivered.
The PR-2000 is air cooled with the same light weight and easy to handle head unit. This is a more economical choice that performs the same as the I4 but without some of the bells and whistles.
The PR-10 is the only single phase 50 amp spot welder that actually works. Introduced over 15 years ago these water cooled machines deliver over 10,000 amps to the electrodes. Many PR-10s have been in service for over 15 years and still welding even on BORON steels.
PR-10 STORY. I have one customer with a PR-10 on an overhead track that covers 7 very busy bays and has been used everyday for over 10 years. The only part replaced was a water cooling bottle that melted when it was parked under the radiant heater. Not bad for 10 years in a busy shop.
